Program Certification was designed by AACVPR to help establish a standardized criteria by which cardiac and pulmonary programs could be evaluated.  Certification by AACVPR is to provide the highest quality of patient care. The goal of program certification and recertification is to assure that programs are meeting the essential standards of care described in the 4th Edition Guidelines for Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention Programs.

If you have questions about the Program Certification process for both cardiac and pulmonary programs you can contact a member of the Program Certification Review Committee.  They are eager to help you and your program through the Program Certification process.
